I have always loved music that can tell a story, and here we have a story set to music. This is a delight to both fans of progressive rock music and gothic literature.
Excellent job. Darren Douglas Danahy
Prog rock meets Trip Hop with this new offering from Midgely & Silentio and it's a combination that works extremely well. It even contains a potential hit song with "Sometimes" in particular. The haunting dark side does even get to shine some light and once again the subject source for the albums concept is well apt to the GREAT! music you get here. It's an album that creates a much bigger picture even with its many short tracks that make it up and I do hope there is more to come from this duo. Lee Lucas
Boldly arriving with stallion mounted confidence, through stubborn defiance, to gut wrenching torment and tender moments of regret, defeat and reflection. Very impressive lead guitar work & wah use, as with all the fx and synth work. Ever impressive vocalised story telling from Nathan & Gordon on synergistic harmony. No track disappoints! From 'Childe' on-wards, is a soul birthing, twisting journey of Napiers goodies, cosmic wormholes & Bonesmen's tracklements. To the Heights! thePiecan

Multi-instrumentalist Gordon Midgley offers here a wide range of guitar-based compositions. If you are a fan of the edgy progressive Rock of early King Crimson (Think on the "Red"-album) you must listen to "The darkness of error", very Frippesk, but there are also peaceful shimmering guitar-arpeggios ("Last letter") free-floating ambient-textures ("Old good days") and all is created with the guitar, just the opening track ("Preemptive retaliation") features a synth-line with heavy drums.
